Documentary: “Brain Man”

This is the story of Daniel Tammet, an autistic savant with Asperger’s syndrome who can do complex math in his head and can learn languages at an extraordinary rate.

He knows 11 languages. With a form of synaesthesia, Daniel recited the mathematical PI to over 22 thousand digits taking five hours.

In the documentary, one see scientists who are studying his rare condition. Daniel also meets Kim Peek, the person who was the basis for the film “Rain Man”.
